Opticon H19 Field Phone takes AT&T new Enterprise device award
Opticon,
who specialise in enterprise applications and data collection,
have taken the title of AT&T’s Best New Network Compatible Device
2008 for their H19 Field Phone in the carrier’s wireless Developer
Program Fast-Pitch Platinum Awards announced at CTIA. The award
recognises new cellular network devices that are compatible with
AT&T’s GSM/GPRS network, and contestants are subject to a
quick-fire presentation and question/answer session; the H19 beat
competition from various software apps and hardware devices.
The H19 Field Phone joins

Opticon Inc. announced that it was the winner of the AT&T Wireless
Developer Program Fast-Pitch Platinum Awards 2008 in the Best Network
Compatible Device category at the CTIA Wireless Tradeshow in Las Vegas
yesterday. This award recognizes new cellular network devices that are
compatible on the AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS network.
The Enterprise Fast-Pitch Platinum
Award recognizes best-of-breed wireless solutions, including a variety
of software applications and wireless network devices. Opticon Inc.
submitted its H19 Field Phone for consideration. After a quick-fire
presentation and question/answer session, the H19 was selected as the
Best New Network Compatible Device for 2008.
The Enterprise Fast-Pitch Platinum
Award judges wireless solutions on Concept and Innovation, Quality and
Usability and Business Case. Jason Doll, Director of Marketing for
